The model calculates current density/field distribution in a superconducting wire in the presence of a time-dependent transport current, background field or combination thereof. The superconductor is modeled with a power-law. Dependence of Jc on magnetic field and position as well as the presence of other materials can be easily incorporated.
The figure below the current density distribution as it changes during an AC cycle of the transport current.
